In high summer, Hugh Town can be a hive of activity with people arriving by both boat and plane at various times throughout the day and taxi's manouvering their way throught the 'crowded' streets.

You can even indulge in a spot of shopping at one of the independent shops lining the pretty streets or simply sit by the dock of the bay and watch the boats coming in......and going out again!

St Mary's is a beautiful island and has a lot to offer.  Walk up to The Garrison and enjoy the views from the Star Castle Hotel, relax on the sandy beach at Porthcressa after a delicious lunch at Dibble and Grub (Mila's favourite)  or take a taxi up country and indulge in some horse riding, golf or simply walk the idyllic country and coastal paths .
